Technopolis of Ankara University (First University of the Republic of Turkey) was founded in 2007

First R&D activities began on August 1, 2009 on 4000 m² of closed area.

On March 1, 2014, the new building opened which contains Incubation and Pre-incubation Center, Technology Transfer Office (Ankara TTO) and expansion areas for R&D firms (approximately 9.000 m²).

Lands are available for BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) modeled investments. Currently a South korean/Turkish joint venture company ,which occupies 5000 m² of land, operates in the technopolis by this model.

More than 140 offices occupied for office or laboratory uses. Our Technopolis occupancy rate is %95+

Ankara University Technopolis is established on the TDZ (Technology Development Zone) area adjacent to Ankara University’s Campus in Gölbaşı, Turkey.
